FTBC is one of Breakthrough Breast Cancers largest annual fundraising campaigns. As the direct result of our work fewer women die of breast cancer than 15 years ago.
FTBC has raised £11.5 million for Breakthrough in the past 15 years – enough to fund 20% of all of our research during that time. Last year alone, FTBC raised £1 million – the cost of running the research centre for more than a month
Breakthrough is the largest and most influential UK breast cancer charity and all money raised through FTBC supports our lifesaving work. In 1999, we opened the largest centre of breast cancer research in Europe. Cancer patients are already benefitting from drugs developed at our centre.
